Why BridgesMUN?

The name of “BridgesMUN” was inspired by Ruby Bridges, an African American civil rights activist who, at the age of six, became the first African American child to desegregate an all-white elementary school. Her incredible legacy and extraordinary bravery remain within our hearts to this day. Additionally, we believe that, through Model UN, students of all ethnicities, backgrounds, and origins can unify to bring change to the world, functioning much like a bridge for other people and ideas. Model UN serves as an opportunity to collaborate with new people, or delegates, while formulating powerful solutions to real world dilemmas. BridgesMUN is a unifying conference that offers an incredible experience. From cultivating the skills of new delegates to offering advanced committees for more experienced delegates, BridgesMUN focuses on many different ages and MUN levels.
