What is Model United Nations (MUN)?
Model United Nations (MUN) is a simulation of the United Nations for students. Delegates represent countries within UN committees. Within these committees, delegates, build their speaking, research, writing, and diplomacy skills as they represent their assigned nations to work towards mitigating global issues.
MUN at Portola is unique
We work together to develop leading and following, teaching and learning, and negotiation and compromise. MUN is a journey of intellectual, social, and emotional growth. Our focus is on the continual development of global citizens, humanitarians, and authentic leadership.
